The ferry duration depends on your departure port. From Heraklion, the highspeed catamaran (Seajets Power Jet) takes approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes. From Rethymno, the trip takes about 2 hours and 20 minutes. Standard ferries (slower boats) are not recommended for day trips as they take significantly longer.
