Overview:
The martial Museum of Chania is the Second Pan-Hellenic Annex of the central martial museum in Athens. The first one is located in Nafplio. The building occupies an area of 2.386 square meters, built in 1870. The drawings are from the Italian architect Makouso.
In the museum, there are exhibited heirlooms and photographic material that presents the delivery fights of the Cretans.
Heirlooms from the participation of the Cretans in the Greek-Turkish war, in the Greek-Bulgarian war, as well as in both world wars. There is also infrequent photographic material from the participation of the Cretans Macedonian-fighters (1903-1908), in Balkan wars (1912-1913), up to the North Epirus war (1914).
