Daily Excursions in Malia Area

 

Malia Quad Safari starts from our premises in Malia. After a safety briefing, we start the trip heading to the Minoa palace in Malia Crete. As we pass through the palace and continue towards the village Sissi we will cross a forest, pass through olive groves under the main road and continue up the mountains where we will have a great photo under one of the biggest and the oldest (over 800 years old) oak in the island. Then we continue to the village Vrachasi. The route snakes through the narrow village streets of Vrachasi and climbs steeply up towards the old Monastery of Agios Georgios Vrachasiotis.

Malia Quad Safari off-road track offers great opportunities for amazing photographs and breathtaking scenery. Every 30 minutes we will stop for photographs and a chance to change drivers. During this time, the guide will inform you about the places that you visit.

Our trip will continue through the village Latsida where the longest stop will be made for lunch in a traditional tavern.

After eating and chatting, our trip is continuing to the village Neapoli where we visit Vasilakis olive factory where we have our friendly olive tour in the award-winning Cretan olive press. After that our adventure will be complete but not over. We will go to the village of Sisi on a beautiful beach for swimming and then we drive back to our base where our journey began.

 

Excursions

There are two ways you can do the excursion: 1 Quad per person OR 1 Quad for 2 persons (both can drive the quad, as long as they got a driver’s license). Choose below which suits you best!

Tour highlights:

6 hours approximately – 80 km. (almost 70% of it is off-road)

Directions while booking:
► If you are booking a child, leave in the comments box the dates of birth. Children under 7 years old won’t be accepted

Tips:
► Suitable for everyone holding a full driver’s license.
► When you book a quad for 2, any member can drive the quad, as long as they have with them a full driver’s license.
► Minimum age of passenger 7 years old.
► The tour is ideal for everyone who´s looking for an experience beyond the ordinary, youth groups, single or couple participants, families with children, and companies.
